This Monday, my department held a speech. The lecturer of speech is
a Czech(捷克人), and he is working in Charles
University(查理士大學) at Prague(布拉格). It was very intriguing because other people probably would not
have a chance to meet a Czech! But what made me frustrated was that I couldn’t
understand what he was talking about sometimes. Though he spoke English slowly,
I still couldn’t perfectly get his point. The speech was mainly about teaching
us how to distinguish Czech from Russian and introducing Charles University.
After the speech, my classmate and I took a picture with him. Although
I didn’t talk to him at all during whole speech, I think I will still remember him
for a long time. Who knows, maybe I will meet him again in his country! What we
need to treasure is the fate that between anyone and us. Because we will never
know what will happen in the future!
I think is a bit hard for us to get to know other foreigners in school, I am always curious about what their life like and the differences between the Europe country, especially eastern Europe. It's hard for me to tell the differences:'(
ReplyDeleteBut I also hope that someday I can truly stand on the exotic ground and experience the culture myself! By the way, have you been enjoyed learning Russian so far?
